Time For God (UK) are offering a unique experience for people who would like to volunteer for two years from September 2010 or January 2011 in and around the Olympic and Paralympic Games that will be held in London in 2012.

For a few weeks in the summer of 2012 London will be the focus of the world! This massive event is serving to highlight many of the needs, the suffering and brokenness in Britain’s society. In response, Time For God is setting up the Time For 2012 project. We are matching community groups, charities and churches with a full-time volunteer(s) who can help them take the excitement generated by the Olympic Games and allow God to use it for good in their communities. For example you could be developing a sports ministry, facilitating grassroots community development, organising national outreach programmes, or getting alongside those in need. We are not only looking for people who are sporty (if you are that's BRILLIANT!), but also people who are interested in gaining ministry and work experience in social work, youth work, administration, media, PR, communications and more. We are looking for servant leaders who are willing to live simply and take on challenging and meaningful responsibilities!
